"For every entity in this universe, there is positive and negative energies. Every time the entity acquires positive energy, a little bit of negative energy is also created as the universe always tries to strike a balance. But the positive energy the entity receives is much more powerful than the negative one. So if we feed the positive energy on the entity, we can easily nullify the negatives. So let us work on radiating the positives."

Michael Jackson, President Emeritus

Examples of Michael Jackson's Giving

Mr. Jackson officially founded HTWF in 1992, forming the nonprofit, however, the heart of his charity, healing the world, one person at a time, was Mr. Jackson's focus, even before the papers were signed and the foundation formalized, he was serving his fellow man.

HTWF focuses on character development worldwide and addressing high priority global problems and was on target to become one of the largest charity organizations in the world and also one of the greatest 'goods' to mankind and with any great good, comes opposition in that same measure.

Therefore, it is NO surprise, that shortly after HTWF was launched in 1992, that Michael Jackson's naivety and altruistic love of others, was twisted and exploited.

Winston Churchill said:

"A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on."

Despite the years of repeated attacks of the rapacious and the false rumors of this legendary entertainer and humanitarian, the fact remains that he is one of the most honorable, generous and Godlike men of our time and he will not be put down.

"The ignorant can attack my manhood, but they can never change the content of my character."

Michael Jackson took many blows, but the spirit of love and truth will always prevail in the end.

From 2002-2008 the foundation was fledgling, along with its founder and lost its tax exempt status while reorganizing its focus and upper management.

We continued to develop our initiatives and held many questionnaires and PR 'polls' to gauge the public approval of the charity. Many volunteers continued to hold fundraisers and serve their communities on our behalf and many lives were helped, including all the people on this site currently.

(Erica Sandoval was a struggling single mother before HTWF)

In 2008 based on the demand from our supporters and the devotion of our volunteers, we restructured the charity under a new board of Directors and regained our tax exempt status. However, the charitable giving and work of HTWF was always moving forward and never ceased.

One man can do his part to HEAL THE WORLD and Mr. Jackson did take a step out of the charity for awhile as was necessary and understandable, but will never abandoned HTWF, nor his desire to serve his fellow man. When it is time, Mr. Jackson will lead HTWF into this generation and all generations to come.

Mr. Jackson was honored in 2000 by the Guinness Book of World Record's and in the Year 2000 Millennium Edition, Michael Jackson is listed as having the most charities supported by a pop star.

Mel Wilson, Vice President

Mel has been working on the development of HTWF for eight years and has co-authored several HTWF books with Ms. Johnson. Mr. Wilson has a BA in Linguistics and a Master's Degree in Public Administration.

He was actively involved with microcredit for two years and worked as VP of operations in a health care company in California for about four years. Mr. Wilson has devoted himself to understanding the nature of character improvement.

He is admired and viewed by those who know him as a backyard scholar and writer and worked with Ms. Johnson closely while developing the initiatives of the charity. He is a proud husband and father of six boys. He currently resides in Utah.

"HTWF is a charity organization with a unique model for infusing this world with love and healing. It's surprising that something like its TGOL initiative has never been attempted before." Mel Wilson

Melissa Johnson's Special Thank you and Comments

To all the HTWF proponents and supporters and my dear friend in this work, Mel Wilson, I must express my deepest gratitude and loving admiration. Thank you all.

I also want to share a favorite quote as you struggle to serve in HTWF and do your part to Heal the World.

"Don't tell me what you BELIEVE, tell me what you DO and I'll tell you what you believe."

"Let us so live, that when we come to die, even the undertaker is sorry!"
